Cancellation policy for Apfelland Triathlon May 15-17, 2026

Withdrawal of registration:

Withdrawal of registration (“cancellation”) is only possible via the Pentek payment system.

If you withdraw your registration/cancel, you will receive the following percentage of the entry fee back:

• until December 31, 2025: 70% of the entry fee
• from January 1, 2026 to February 28, 2026: 50% of the entry fe
• From March 1, 2026, to April 30, 2026 (registration deadline): 30% of the entry fee
• From May 1, 2026: no refund

Name change:

A “substitution” or name change is not permitted.

Re-registration for a different distance:

• Re-registration for a different distance is possible up to 2 weeks before the triathlon (deadline May 1, 2026), provided that starting places are still available.
• Re-registration is only permitted for a shorter distance (e.g., from middle to Olympic or sprint, not vice versa).
  In the event of a downgrade to a shorter distance, there will be no offset or refund of the entry fee.

Non-participation/disqualification:

In the event of non-participation/disqualification, there is no entitlement to a refund of the entry fee.

Cancellation or postponement by the organizer:

• Cancellation up to 4 weeks before the triathlon (deadline May 17, 2026): 100% refund of the entry fee
• Cancellation up to 1 week before the triathlon (deadline May 10, 2026): 50% refund of the entry fee
• Cancellation during the race week (May 11, 2026-May 17, 2026) (e.g., due to force majeure, national mourning, weather, and other unforeseeable events): 25% refund of the entry fee
• Postponement: Option to postpone the starting place to the following year or 75% refund of the entry fee.
